Danesfort, Belfast

 

The project comprised three 5-storey luxury apartment blocks of 625m2 each.

The structure is precast concrete hollowcore floor slabs on load-bearing masonry, on bored in-situ reinforced concrete piles, pilecaps and ground beams. Steel beams and purlins supported on an reinforced concrete ring beam form the roof structure. Large overhanging eaves complicated the roof design but were integrated with the roof structure to provide stability.
