A new-build development achieving Code for Sustainable Homes level 3.
Twin 2-storey apartment blocks comprising eight housing units in total with on-site parking and landscaped gardens.
The structure is load-bearing masonry supporting pre-cast concrete floors and timber trussed/cut timber roofs on traditional strip foundations.
The site is narrow and bound on three sides by existing residential properties; it therefore required careful planning to minimise disruption.
Site levels were carefully managed at the boundaries to retain existing foliage and leave a usable garden area for residents.
